Question 1

What does a digital presence and systems consultant actually do?

Accepted Answer

I make sure the digital side of your business actually works — your website, your CRM, your tools, and the automations that tie them together. Depending on who I’m working with, that looks like designing and maintaining a site that converts, untangling a messy tech stack, building a HubSpot setup that finally makes sense, or creating workflows and AI agents that quietly handle the busywork. Either way the goal is the same: turn the chaos into systems that run without you babysitting them.

Question 2

Who do you typically work with?

Accepted Answer

Three kinds of people. Small business owners who are great at their craft but stuck wrestling with the tech — local service companies, boutiques, and healthcare practices that need a site that looks the part and simple systems to handle the busywork. And growing agencies that need a systems partner in the back to manage their CRM, tighten workflows, and build AI agents that fill the gaps. And established businesses that have the website and the systems but no one to actually run the marketing, so I take content, SEO, email, and outreach off their plate. If your business runs on its website and tools, you’re my kind of client.

Question 3

Do you only work with HubSpot, or other CRMs too?

Accepted Answer

HubSpot is where I go deepest — I’ve taken a 100+ step sales process down to under 10 — but I’m not locked into it. I work across the CRMs small businesses and agencies actually use, and if you’re not sure what fits, I’ll help you pick one that matches how you work instead of forcing you into mine.

Question 4

What's included in a free consultation?

Accepted Answer

A real conversation — no jargon, no bloated proposal. We’ll talk through what’s working, what’s driving you crazy, and where your site or systems are leaking time. You’ll walk away with a clear sense of what would actually move the needle, whether or not we end up working together.

Question 5

How do you price your work?

Accepted Answer

It depends on scope, but it’s always transparent — no surprise line items. I offer one-time projects, ongoing support retainers, monthly marketing management, and fractional/contract ops arrangements for agencies. The quickest way to get a ballpark is the Quote Builder on my pricing page, or we can scope it together on a call.

Question 6

Do you build websites, or just consult on them?

Accepted Answer

Both. I build strategic, growth-minded sites from scratch, and I take over existing ones that no longer match the quality of your work — then keep them healthy with ongoing maintenance, updates, and troubleshooting long after launch.

Question 7

I'm an agency, can you work as a contractor on client projects?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely — that’s the whole second lane. I step in as a fractional, contract operations partner: managing your CRM, tightening your workflows, and building AI agents and integrations to fill the gaps. You get a dedicated systems lead keeping the engine running — without the salary, payroll taxes, benefits, or PTO of a full-time hire — and I’m happy to work white-label behind your brand.

Question 8

How quickly can you start?

Accepted Answer

It depends on my current workload, but I move fast and I’ll be straight with you about timing on our first call. Smaller fixes and audits can often start within a week; larger builds and ongoing partnerships we’ll schedule around a start date that works for both of us. The quickest first step is booking a free consultation.
